What you will get when you win this auction: 1 SONY U-matic VO-4900 Portable Video Cassette Recorder Serial: 10881 The U-Matic video cassette format was developed in Japan in 1968. It was introduced in Europe about four years later. It was supposed to be a video system for home users and as a Japanese system it was in direct competition with the VCR video cassette system that had been introduced in Europe in 1971. But in the end it turned out quite differently. The U-Matic cassette system with the associated video recorders prevailed rather in the semi-professional or professional area. In fact, both the video cassettes and the devices themselves are very robust, making them very suitable for professional use. This device, the Sony VO-4900, is a portable video recorder with a connection for a suitable video camera. If you take a closer look at the device, you can already see that it is a very robustly built and professional device. However, the device is not exactly light.The front with the controls. The cassette drive is still controlled with mechanical buttons. On the other hand, it gets interesting on the right side of the device. Hallo,  biete hier einen Sony vo-9600p u-matic- Recorder aus den 90ern an.Das Gerät war damals das Topp- Modell von Sony- vielleicht kann es noch jemand gebrauchen. Über den weiteren Zustand kann ich nicht viel sagen- war aber bis vor einem Jahr noch bei Verwandten im Einsatz.Das Gerät schaltet sich aber ein, leuchtet/ blinkt normal, Videokopf justiert, ... Sony VO-5630 U-matic Studio Videorecorder 230V PAL / SECAM / NTSC. 1 Has been tested and stops FF/RW and playback after a second or two. Head doesnt seem to spin up to the correct speed. Sold as is. I do have a head assembly that can be included if you think that this could be the issue. Very heavy and bulky device so shipping will be a bit more expensive.
