Daraus u.a. dieser seltene, sehr gepflegte HighEnd CD/SACD-Player (auch DVD-Player) in sehr gutem technischen und optischen Zustand zum Verkauf. (Weitere Angebote folgen sukzessive.) Er war nur einer von mehreren HighEnd CD-Playern und ist daher nicht allzu viel gelaufen; als DVD-Player war er nur gelegentlich im Einsatz. Deshalb auch der sehr gute Zustand. Auch die originale Fernbedienung funktioniert einwandfrei. Die deutsche Bedienungsanleitung gibt es dazu als pdf-Datei per Email. Technische Daten siehe Bild 8; zum aufwändigen Innenaufbau siehe Bild 9. Statt weiterer eigener Beschreibung hier seinerzeitige Testauszüge aus der Fachzeitschrift AREA DVD: Ton Mit seiner aufwändig aufgebauten Audiosektion weiß der Sony Glanzpunkte zu setzen. Herausragend sein transparenter, klarer und detailreicher Klang im SACD-Betrieb: Die Stücke auf der Tommy Smith-SACD Blue Smith gab der Player so lebendig und frisch wieder, dass es eine Freude war, zuzuhören. Man sah den Saxophonspieler sozusagen genau vor sich und hätte mit geschlossenen Augen gewettet, er säße mitten im eigenen Zimmer. Selbst kleinste Nuancen, die man auf einer CD gar nicht wahrgenommen hätte, da der Hochtonbereich zum einen nicht weit genug hinaufgeht und zum anderen auch nicht differenziert genug ist, sind nun harmonisch ins musikalische Gesamtklangbild integriert. Von ihren Möglichkeiten, so scheint es (leider stand noch nicht so viel Software zur Verfügung, dass dies besser beurteilt werden kann), ist die SACD ein ernstzunehmender Konkurrent für die DVD Audio, wenn die Discs auf einem solch wertig aufgebauten Player abgespielt werden. Der Klangeindruck im Hochtonbereich ist wahrlich überragend. Um alles auch ungefiltert genießen zu können, verfügt der DVP-S9000ES selbstverständlich über eine Audio Only-Funktion, die die Videosektion des Geräts abschaltet. Auch bei herkömmlichen Audio-CDs ist das Ergebnis, nutzt man den D/A-Wandler im DVP-S9000ES und schließt das Gerät analog an, brillant. Vor allem bei klassischer Musik kann der Player seine Qualitäten eindrucksvoll unter Beweis stellen: So bei Bachs Orgelwerken, gespielt von Simon Preston, abgelegt auf einer 4D-CD, wo das Gerät eine beispielhafte Präzision, gepaart mit einem differenzierten und harmonischen Klangbild, zu bieten hatte. Kaum ein anderer Player bislang wusste eine glasklare Detailwiedergabe im Hochtonbereich mit einem so harmonischen, niemals aggressiven Klangeindruck zu verbinden. Auch die akkurate Wiedergabe von Streichern ist eine Domäne des DVP-S9000ES: Er agiert so feinfühlig und gleichzeitig lebendig, dass er aus jeder CD eine sorgfältig inszenierte Live-Aufführung vor dem geistigen Auge des Zuhörers macht. Natürlich fallen die Leistungen des Sony vor allem bei neueren DDD-CDs auf. Aber selbst ältere, sorgfältig neu gemasterte Aufnahmen kommen in einer Qualität zum Zuhörer, dass man nur verblüfft sein kann. Der Digitalton möchte da natürlich nicht zurückstehen und zeigt, dass es auch hier möglich ist (auch wenn sich gern darüber gestritten wird, ob dies tatsächlich zu beobachten ist), ein noch höheres Niveau als bei guten Mittelklasse-Playern zu erreichen. So rein und klar jedenfalls klang ansonsten nur der nochmals teurere Onkyo DV-S939. Das Fazit, keine Frage: Sechs Sterne für den Sony, der für den highfidelen Musikfreund ein sehr guter Partner sein dürfte. Ersetzt er doch den hochwertigen CD-Player voll und ganz, und zugleich ist der Sony auch noch ein DVD-Player mit herausragendem Bild. Bewertung Auch akustisch bietet der Player Leistungen der absoluten Extraklasse. Selbst eine herkömmliche Audio-CD wird zu einem Erlebnis. Dazu kommt noch eine einfache Bedienung, eine perfekte Verarbeitung und eine praxisgerechte Ausstattung. Keine Frage, bei so viel Perfektion ist selbst der gewiss nicht niedrige Kaufpreis zu verschmerzen - zudem das bildschöne Gerät auch noch ein Blickfang in jeder Heimkino-Anlage sein dürfte. NO RESERVE AUCTION - SONY SCD-XA9000ES SACD PLAYER! This was a Stereophile recommended masterpiece from SONY. Massively overbuilt (nearly 38lbs!) with a great sound to boot. If you know this player, you know this is one great SONY CD player. Unfortunately this needs a new belt. Drawer will slide out with no problem but will need a slight nudge to have it slide back in. Reads redbook CDs with no issue but needs a new laser for SACD disc. The SACD disc issue and the belt are very common wear and tear issues with these SACD players. Once replaced, they will work for many more years with no issues. Add SONYs reliability reputation and this is a keeper of a CD player. Or just leave it as is if you only listen to redbook CDs and dont mind giving the player a slight nudge each time you change disc (since you have to get up there anyway). I watched a film through the RCA connection as well as playing through a CD for audio (I don’t own a SACD to try!) All front inputs tested and worked fully. Aside from some little dinks to corners of the player, the main cosmetic point to note is the ‘mottling’ type effect on the top side, along with some surface scuffs/ scratches. Please check pictures!
