This is a very rare authentic Sony original R/C unit in tatty original and slightly broken box (see images). It was designed for early 1980s CRT TVs from the portable KV-1612UB right up to the KV-27XSD.For a full list of compatible models see the final image. The remote itself is in excellent used condition, except maybe for the battery terminals which, although not pristine, should make contact. However, when I tried inserting 2 x AAAs (not supplied) the red light on the remote did not illuminate. When I did the camera test I could not see the infra red light either - a test that is largely fool-proof for modern remotes, which I have sold successfully using this test. So maybe it works, maybe it doesnt. Therefore, Im selling this rarity as a COLLECTORS DISPLAY ITEM ONLY with no working guarantee. Will ship without batteries.
