This adapter plate reuses the existing circular Sanus plate, and requires a few additional pieces, per speaker/mount: The following are Not included in the listing 2x M5 x 20 countersunk screws 1x 4 mm rod or M4 socket head screw of at least 50 mm in length 1x M5 x 7 x 6 threaded insert (optional) 1x M5 x 8 button head or socket head screw with washer (optional) If you wish to use the threaded insert and smaller M5 to retain the front lip of the Sanus mount, flip the adapter plate over, and press the threaded insert into the hole using a soldering iron with heat set insert tip, or heat up the threaded insert with a small torch and press into the hole using pliers.To assemble, use the 2x M5 x 20 countersunk screws to attach the mount to the speaker (see photo). Hand tight is fine, no need to crank these on with extreme torque.Remove your Sanus mounting plate from stand and cut/scrape off the foam tape on either side of the rectangular protrusions (see photos). This will expose 2 holes that pass through the rectangular sections.Remount the Sanus plate to the stand using the singular Phillips screw. Then place the Era onto the plate, lining up the rectangular cut-outs. Ensure it is fully seated on the plate. Place the 4 mm rod or M4 x 50 into the hole on the side and verify it goes through the adapter plate, the Sanus plate, and into the other side of the adapter plate.Mount the M5 x 8 with washer in the threaded insert, tightening it against the front lip of the Sanus plate.Route the power cable through the Sanus stand pole, and then through the cord retainer at the back of the adapter plate, and finally into the Era speaker.
