Up for sale is a stunning example of the Technics SL-P350, fully restored and ready for many more years of use. The SL-P350 was part of Technics flagship line of the late 1980s that preceded the triple digit models such as the SL-P555 and SL-P999, sitting a few tiers below the flagship SL-P990 and sharing much of the same technology. It features a top quality vacuum fluorescent display and highly convenient direct track and feature access buttons on its front panel. Dating from 1988, this unit is in an exceptional cosmetic condition that belies its age. The top casing has some barely visible light marks as can be expected for its age. In line with this players age, it has been extensively serviced and is now ready for many more years of use. All electrolytic capacitors have been replaced with brand new top quality Panasonic and Nichicon ones, including those in the headphone circuitry. A vast amount of re-soldering has been done throughout as typically required for 1980s Technics equipment. The revered SOAD60 CD mechanism has been correctly serviced with suitable lubrications, cleaning and a new tray drive belt installed. The entire unit has also been cleaned with specially developed methods that have removed all traces of use from the past 35 years. The original EUR64782 remote control is sadly not present though a number of working examples are available for purchase on Ebay at this time. The power cable and (low capacitance, low resistance) RCA cable for connection to an amplifier is included. Excellent Technics SL-P350 CD Player with infra red RC transmitter. This has been a much loved part of my fathers hifi collection until he recently had to downsize. Its in great condition and comes in its original packaging with the remote control, manual and power cable. Please note that the player is shipped without a plug, so youll need to pop one onto the cable, or use another standard cable.
