This is a Vintage Pioneer Turntable model PL-12D-II, this turntable is Manual and it is Belt Driven. It has a Shure Cartridge model VN35HE and the Stylus is a Shure V15 Type III. This cartridge is considered by many, to be the best moving magnetic cartridge ever produced and the Type III Stylus is said to be the most special in terms of natural musicality and sound stage. Everything on the turntable seems to work fine. The one problem is there is a crack in the dust cover. It still works, but you can see the crack in the picture. This is a great sounding turntable. Vintage Sony PS-4750 Direct Drive Turntable - Shure V15 Type lll cartridge. Made in Japan between 1979 &81. It’s just been serviced and PAT tested by a fully qualified ex BBC audio tech. He was really impressed with its build quality and superb tone. The design and construction of the turntable and platter contributes to the depth of tone, full bass and no tinny hissy tone. It’s in generally good condition, no lid, a bit of sticker residue from the last owner. Very rarely available in the UK. Thanks for liking.
