This is a fully functional (purchased new in June, 2023) high fidelity system with a dedicated DAC, EQ, and amplifier. All units are designed and manufactured in California by Schiit audio. Please see their website www.schiit.com for specifications. Bifrost 2/64 DAC (MRSP $799)This is the upgraded and newest Bifrost from Schiit. It has a true multibit autonomy DAC with 4 DAC8812 D/A converters. It has a coaxial input, or an optical (toslink) input, or a USB input. The outputs are XLR or RCA. Lokius 6 band Equalizer (MRSP $299)Fine tune your sound to your liking. Often a little boost in the 20Hz and 120Hz range can improve the bass quality. Jotunheim-2 Amplifier (MRSP $399)This is an awesome fully balanced headphone amplifier with a 1/4 headphone plug or an XLR headphone plug. It will drive any headphone of your choosing. Or use the Jotunheim as a preamp, it has RCA or XLR outputs. Like the more expensive Schiit amplifiers it comes with Nexus technology. This means an incoming single ended (RCA) signal can output to a balanced (XLR) signal, or an incoming balanced signal can output to a single ended signal. The amp also has Continuity S technology. This means the amp can smoothly transition from a class A to class AB amplification. Class A is often sufficient for headphones, but if more output is required by a downstream unit, then the amp will seamlessly switch into class AB mode. Silversonic (DH Labs) RCA cables (MRSP $140 for 1 pair)To ensure you get high performance signal transfer between the units, I am including 2 pairs of 0.5 meter Silversonic BL-1 Series II RCA cables. These are also made in the USA with pure silver coated oxygen free copper. Please see website www.silversonic.com for specifications. All owners manuals, power cords for US outlets, and remote for the Bifrost 2/64 are included. The stack measures 9 inches (W) x 6 inches (D) x 6 inches (H). Tip: Feed a digital signal through a high quality cable into the DAC, hone it with the EQ, send it to the amplifier, and then plug into the XLR output a high quality headphone, such as the Focal Stellia. Now your eardrums will be dazzled with some good vibrations.

In perfect cosmetic condition, no noticeable sound degredation, just dont use it much.

I am the original owner of all 3 of these units. All original contents are included. Boxes, manuals, cables, etc. (except the Schiit brand sticker that they throw in). Up for sale is a Schiit Modi 2 Uber and Vali 2 stack in excellent condition. This combo sounds amazing and is a great way to dip your toes into the hobby. The Vali 2 has an upgraded Genelax Gold Lion tube with an extra stock tube included. The previous owner claims that an original founder signed the Modi, but I have no way of proving if the signature is legitimate or not. All power and interconnect cables are included. If you know your Schiit, then you know this will give you AWEsome audio! Up for sale is a Schiit audio stack, consisting of a Schiit Modi 3E DAC and Schiit Magni 3 Heresy headphone amplifier. I purchased these a year ago, and used them twice for a total of about an hour. They give AMAZING sound, but Ive eventually had to concede that Im more of a speaker guy than a headphone guy, which is why Im selling them. They were taken from their boxes and put into place in my entertainment system and then never moved, so theyre in like-new condition. Schiit is famous for being an American company that makes high-end audio electronics at affordable prices, and these two pieces are evidence of that. The Modi 3E DAC does an amazing job of translating digital audio into accurate analog sound, and the high/low gain switch on the Magni 3 Heresy allows it to deliver clean, punchy amplification to both high and low sensitivity headphones. The noise floor was below audibility to my ears through my Sennheiser HD 600s. If youre listening to music using a laptop or computer sound output, then you should be pleasantly surprised at the upgrade in sound quality these two components will give you. The two pieces will be shipped in their original boxes, packed within a shared box, so theyll be well protected. All the original parts and documentation are included, in their respective boxes.
