Symptom:The TV appears to be in an endless cycle of coming on and going off by itself showing the logo only. Sometimes the cycle ends with the TV staying on or going off. This is normally a main board problem Note: when changing the back lights: the screens on the TV is very fragile and would suggest you watch a video on u tube before attempting . When changing the back lights on 55 inch and up screens: they are extremely difficult to change and require two people and four suction cups: One model of TV uses different back lights so check the part number on the back light strip before ordering IMPORTANT ALL MAIN BOARDS MUST BE UPGRADED TO FUNCTION PROPERLY FAILURE TO DO SO WILL APPEAR AS A DEFECTIVE BOARD Changing a part on a TV is not like changing a light bulb most TVs are software driven and require an upgrade from the mfg (to match the new part to your TV) without this upgrade your back lights, WiFi, sound etc may not work properly or fail prematurely.
