Welcome to my listing for beautiful award winning Rotel RCD-965BX CD Player. This legendary unit from the venerable stable of Rotel delivers music with surprising authority and detail. This is a very smooth, clean and detailed sounding CD player and can easily be partnered with higher end components. It really does sound excellent. The transport is the very high quality and resonance free Philips CDM-4/19 mechanism, known for its reliability and found on many high end CD players. The DAC on board is the high precision SAA7323GP Bitstream chip. I have fully serviced this unit including a new gear and belt for the drawer, which opens and closes as smooth as butter! As you can see from the pictures, this player is in truly excellent condition throughout. It reads and navigates discs with speed and precision and every button and function works perfectly and as it should. This ships with its original remote control, also in excellent condition and rare to find these days. There are a few light scratches on the top panel but this in no way detracts from the beauty and presence of this lovely machine. It is rare to find one of these in such great condition. For sale is this great Rotel RCD-965BX Limited Edition. I would class this CD player as being in a good, used condition with a few marks, scuffs and scratches from wear and use. The majority, and worst of these, are on the top panel which has pitting and some of these have corroded a little. Please check out all the pictures as these make up a large part of the description and show the condition well.This CD player is in full working order (plays quickly and quietly), and it sounds superb. Significantly upgraded over both the standard machine and the LE, this features high quality Black Gate caps throughout much of the internals (see pictures) and most importantly, a Rotel UK fully discrete output stage. As per the standard version, it uses the reliable Philips CDM4/19 transport. It is quite heavy and solid compared to other Rotel models I have seen. It might not have the most flashy name or casework to impress your mates but it does sound very nice. In good condition and fully working. Rotel RA-980BX + RCD-965BX + RT-935AX Excellent working, good cosmetic condition. One scratch on CD player (second image). Please look at all pictures carefully as they are part of the description. Downsizing so my long loved and main system has to go. Apart from one button front missing on CD player, still works perfectly. Bought like this almost 20 years ago. Love it to bits but wife wants a fully remote system so downsized to Arcam Solo. Comes with CD remote & power cables. Marked as collection only but will box if you want to arrange your own courier.
