The review hype is real. These speakers present a wide, spacious soundstage, and a sense of immediacy to the music, primarily due to very fast transient attack, these are quick speakers. You hear a lot of inner detail, which I like.Cabinets are in very good condition, including grills. Listening to Lady Be Good by George Gershwin as I write this. The measurements had already demonstrated that the RS1 has a very good bass alignment for close-to-wall siting..... Combine this with quite strong output through the upper mid and treble and the net result emphasises the speakers best features – its lively, dynamic and exciting especially with vocals and higher register instruments.
