Hello, for sale today is my Pro-Ject DAC Box DS2 Ultra in silver with Rosenut wood sides. This DAC is in excellent shape with a tremendous amount of inputs. To my ears it has a nice, smooth delivery but that is all I will say about the sound. It has no visible marks and while I do not have the original packaging, I will make sure it is well packaged for shipment.

I ran this for about a year, got the upgrade itch, and just haven’t brought it back into the system since. Deserves a good home. Fantastic phonostage with lots of great reviews. As shown in the pictures, this is the silver version with walnut sides. A real looker. Seems like the walnut versions are hard to find these days. I’ve examined closely and can’t find a single flaw. I take good care of my equipment. But listing as excellent, not mint, since it’s not new. All features work perfectly. Front panel adjustments make this a very easy and accessible phonostage. Will ship with stock tubes. I also have some RFTs (awesome for rock/metal), Mullards, and Gold Lions. I would sell some or all those as well for market price. Not necessarily looking to sell those since I have other tube gear, but would consider bundling with appropriate markup. I have all factory/original boxes. Like New, I bought to compare with a few other pre-amps and missed my return window on this preamp so Im selling. Still needs break in time as in only has 10 - 15 hrs on it. The matched pair of upgraded Sovtek Tubes are installed in the pre amp. The original tubes are in the box along with all manuals, cables etc.

Excellent, nearly new, Pro-ject Pre-box DS2 preamplifier/DAC. This is the Digital version of the Pre-box DS2 and has a very nice DAC built in. Several connection options including MM/MC phono input.Comes with the remote. Amp and remote work well. Very nice sounding, and has adjustable gain to use with lower output sources. I almost decided to keep it (and still might), but I really dont need it. Just for general information, Pro-ject makes nice stuff (I also have an RPM 9 turntable) and they have exceptional customer service. I own a DS3 cd player that I had an issue with and they took care of it quickly and painlessly. They are great to communicate with. At any rate, nice preamp at a nice price. Looks great with the rare eucalyptus wood panels on the sides, the best looking finish on these preamps, in my opinion. I swapped out the original tubes for Mullards 12AX7s and thats what Ive been using since. I have the original tubes also, Ill make sure they are in the box. They probably only have 30 hours or so on them. The installed Mullards probably have a couple hundred hours on them and still going strong. I do see some small imperfections in spots. There is a small mark on the front which I had not noticed before that can be seen from up close. And the bottom corners of the wood panels look like they have a small bit of wear. Again, you have to be up close to see it and I just want to make sure you are happy and pleased with the purchase. Ill ship it via UPS in the original box with the original tubes and the Mullards tubes installed. It will also come with the power supply and plug adapters and manual. Thanks!
