This Pro-Ject Automat A1 turntable system offers an outstanding listening experience. It is very lightly used and newly cleaned. The stylus is like new, and comes with the cover still attached. The dust cover is also pre-installed. Its automatic start and stop feature adds convenience, while the built-in phono stage promotes a pure sound. The high-quality belt drive, 33 and 45 RPM speed settings, and Ortofon OM10 cartridge ensure perfect sound reproduction. The unit is sleek and stylish in black, making it a perfect addition to any home audio setup. It also comes with a stylus cover to protect the cartridge when not in use. This P1.5 table was one of the earlier models from Pro-Ject, which evolved into the Debut range. Has a powerful motor, suspended from a rubber mount like later models, but a thicker belt and a much heavier steel platter for more stable speeds and smooth running. Arm is good quality, fitted with Ortofon 5E cartridge and stylus. Usual SME-style bias weight on a string. Mains voltage and integral power and RCA audio cables, no fiddling about or losing transformers. Nice tidy condition, looking and sounding great. Includes paper manual and spec sheet. See pics and video - pity I didnt have a better record at hand to test it! Only significant issue is a small crack at the back of the lid, which is otherwise in good condition. See photos. Will be carefully packed, with platter and counterweight removed and packed separately. Motor will be secured with screws which must be removed before use.
