Has a few streaming apps built in, including Netflix and Amazon Includes remote and multi stream cable card. Not sure if cable card can be reused but you can try asking your cable company to authorize it. Was used on Comcast. This model does not have a OTA tuner. This auction is for an 640 hour TiVo Premiere DVR (Digital Video Recorder). It is capable of recording off the air, using an antenna (not included), or with a cable card (provided by your cable company). I bought this unit directly from TiVo in 2011, with the lifetime subscription. It was used it with a cable card for a decade, and more recently with antenna. The original harddrive was replaced in 2019 with a new 4TB WesternDigital WD40EFRX, a drive that is well regarded for use in DVRs, This increased its recording capacity to 640 hours in HD. This unit sat quietly in a cabinet under theTV, in a non-smoking household. It has never been mistreated. It is in very clean, working, condition. The TiVo lifetime subscription is tied to the TiVo unit itself, and not to the owner of the unit. Therefore, this unit will retain its lifetime subscription, and you will be entitled to the TiVo service for as long as the box remains operational, without additional cost. The unit will be reset, with all previous recordings and settings cleared, and will start with the TiVo guided setup when you power it up for the first time. Up for auction are my 2 Tivo Premiere 4 Receivers (TCD746320), both with Lifetime Subscriptions. These are one of the few TIVO receivers that work with both digital cable and digital over-the-air antenna signal. The original 320MB hard drive on both receivers have been replaced, one with a 4TB hard drive and one with a 2TB one. The case fans in both receivers have also been replaced recently. Two WIFI wireless adapters are also included. One of the remotes has been upgraded with a model with backlit keys. Tivo is the BEST DVR ever!Record 6 shows at once with plenty of room for all of your shows. It works on skip mode to zip through shows quicker and skip to avoid commercials. Both are features that when you get used to them, you cant live without. The unit works great. Its been reset to factory settings. I will give you a Tivo Case # which you can use to transfer the lifetime service to your name. Please note the rubber feet on the bottom are gone (see pic).
