Philips AZ8304/05 1990 Boombox. Retro, Vintage Generally this is in good working order, with the CD player and both cassette players tested and working fine. The battery compartment is clean and I have tested with the mains power and batteries, and both power sources work fine. It makes a lovely sound. HOWEVER, there are a number of flaws which I have detailed below: - No remote control is included - Sometimes when the volume dial is turned there is a delay before the volume actually changes - the aerial is missing - one small foot pad/rest is missing from underneath as per photo. This does not make the machine unstable/wobbly. - there is a mild smoky cigarette smell from the previous household (not mine) - there is some discolouration/ dust marks to the digital display as per photo - VERY occasionally the CD player lid needs weighting down to help detect the CD inside. Mostly it works fine without this (hence the adhesive pads fitted inside, which help remedy the problem). Overall cosmetic condition is good, with just a bit of dust in nooks and crannies here and there. Please see photos for more information as they form part of the description. From a pet free home.
