Philips N1500 N1700 Cassettes (13) BBC Superstars Pre-recorded/Post-production Tapes. A set of 13 1970s Philips N1500 tapes marked as containing episodes segments of the BBC Superstars and Superteams TV series. Four of the cases and three of the cassettes seem to be rare surviving video library examples (Rank and Television International). Some of these cassettes may originally have been used for post-production on Superstars (see descriptions on the cases) - the collection originally came from an ex-BBC engineer. All of the recordings are likely to be in N1500 short play rather than N1700 long play format (the set originally came with an N1500 recorder) None of these tapes have been played for many decades (and the tape has snapped on two of the cassettes). There is no guarantee as to their contents (if any) and they will likely need some restoration work before any attempt is made to play them.

16 x used tapes from the 1970s Philips VCR video format. Can be re-used if anyone still wants to record on that format. Please note that the Philips format is very difficult to use these days, only experienced people should buy these tapes. Postage cost includes insurance.

This has been in the loft for decades. No idea whether it will work or not as I cant find the power cord that fits the machine. Quite a few scratches on the facia, looks like a knob on the clock is missing. Looks dusty inside. Collection welcome in Chesterfield.
