1983 this unit is the rarest of the Phase Linear products first luxury CD player in the United States tested, this item was previously loved and in excellent cosmetic condition,CD does not want to spin, when you press Play, if you listen very closely you can hear that the motor is trying to move/spin but does not, it would seem this unit merely needs a rubber band replaced. All other functions tested and working, including all buttons which are 100% responsive, inputs and outputs - for this reason, I have to sell for parts

Vendesi Phase Linear del 1978 perfettamente fuzionante. Ottime condizioni, considerati gli anni.Mai effettuato recap perchè mai sentita lesigenza.Da segnalare un difetto estetico che non pregiudica le prestazioni: in un intervento tecnico dei primi anno 80 da parte dellallora assistenza italiana, mi fu restituito con le mascherine dei VU-meter scambiate con quelle del modello 400, per cui riportano come fondo scala 200 watt anzichè 500.Allora, me ne accorsi troppo tardi per porre rimedio e così è rimasto. Difetto rimediabile (volendo) cancellado i numerini relativi alla potenza e riscrivendoli con trasferibili bianchi oppure aspettando loccasione per recuperare, sul mercato americano (ebay.com) delle mascherine originali (aimè, lì cè chi se li vende a pezzi!). I numeri dei dB sono identici alloriginale. Chi bada alla sostanza (ed in questo ampli ce nè tanta!) non ci baderà neanche.
