This has been gathering dust in my loft for ten years or so.I cannot remember when I last used it, probably 2006 judging by the labels on my VHS tapes. I recall that it was working perfectly one day and then was absolutely dead the next day. I would probably have checked the mains fuse at the time, but it is probably an easy fix for someone with some knowledge of electronics.It was one of Panasonics top models, and was a lot bigger and heavier than many. I remember paying a bargain £525 for it, reduced from £599, a lot dearer than most domestic VHS machines. I wanted this model because it had the Jog and Shuttle facility, which meant I could do neat copies of my favourite music off the telly, cutting out adverts etc.Please note that the box has come unstuck at one corner, and the internal polystyrene packing was thrown away a long time ago!STOP PRESS 2020: It appears to have started working again! I know very little about electronics, and only recently discovered that dead items can come back to life after being left unused for a while. It recently happened with my old satnav, tablet, laptop, Freeview recorder and DVD player, and now this VCR! I will leave it listed at spares or repair as I have no idea whether this is an intermittent fault which might recur. Payment by PayPal preferred.
