Naim Nait 3 amplifier in excellent condition and perfect working order. Superb sound quality as you would expect from this classic amplifier, no issues whatsoever. All of the LEDs on the selector buttons illuminate as they should, the Olive green front panel is unmarked. The inputs are via DIN, there is space to retro fit a phono stage (input 1) but this is not fitted. The speaker outputs are via Banana plug and comes with a UK mains lead. The power is rated at 30 watts per channel but seems so much more. I have taken some pictures under the case and as you can see its immaculate throughout; no obvious issues with capacitors or any of the components, no swelling or leakage. I have reverted back to my Nait 2 hence the reason for sale, a superb example all ready to enjoy. Please see the images as they form part of the description. I was in the market for an amplifier for my KEF Reference 1 Metas I auditioned the Naim SUPERNAIT 3 against the REGA Aethos and Hegels stunning H390. The Naim was a league above the rest. I was flabbergasted with how the Naim managed to grip the speakers with authority and impact unlike the REGA and Hegel it was nothing shot of spectacular! the clarity and timing was also a highlight it made the Hegel feel slow in comparison, the Rega was closer but still couldnt be matched. Naim Supernait 3 - latest model. Purchased new in 2022 so not much over one year old. Comes complete with Naim box, remote, power line lite and manual. Its great integrated amplifier. I am also selling my NDX2 which is a perfect partner for the Supernait for a 2 box system, sounds fabulous even with out additional power supplies. I am selling since this was for a second system that I no longer use. This model now retails for £3,999 so bag yourself a bargain. This is collection only Im afraid. Naim Nait 3 amplifier in excellent condition and perfect working order. Superb sound quality as you would expect from this classic amplifier, no issues whatsoever. All of the LEDs on the selector buttons illuminate as they should, the Olive green front panel is unmarked. The inputs are via DIN, there is space to retro fit a phono stage (input 1) but this is not fitted. The speaker outputs are via Banana plug and comes with a UK mains lead. The power is rated at 30 watts per channel but seems so much more. I have taken some pictures under the case and as you can see its immaculate throughout; no obvious issues with capacitors or any of the components, no swelling or leakage. I have reverted back to my Nait 2 hence the reason for sale, a superb example all ready to enjoy. Please see the images as they form part of the description. What Naim says about this unit: In the six years since the last NAIT integrated amplifiers were released, our research and development team have worked on a range of amplifier improvements. The result is upgraded power amplifier sections for SUPERNAIT 3, delivering greater pace and intimacy to their musical delivery – whether its driving a pair of loudspeakers or your favourite pair of headphones. SUPERNAIT 3 has received significant performance upgrades, including a built-in phono stage, making it a perfect partner for turntables, as well as for streamers, CD players, or any other music source people want to enjoy with the signature Naim sound. It also includes a Class A preamp output stage which doubles as a headphone amplifier and ceramic heatsink technology that minimises capacitive coupling between the chassis and output transistors for optimum sound quality. Its inputs are each individually decoupled and hand-wired to minimise noise and interference while internal switching employs ultra-low-noise, constant current sources which are derived directly from the electronic design of the flagship NAC 552 preamplifier. Removing the cascode means less amplifier stabilisation is required: that doubles the slew rate and delivers an uplift in sound quality. The phono circuit topology comprises 3 stages: the gain stage, passive equalisation and final gain and active equalisation. This enables excellent noise performance, extended RIAA equalisation beyond the audio band and great overload headroom. All RIAA equalisation capacitors and the RIAA resistors are ‘through-hole’ mounted film designs, with low microphonic pickup and excellent transient performance.
