Ordered in June 2022, left the factory in July (see owners card in images) arrived in August, these have not been in my possession for very long and, due to having many other headphones and speakers vying for my attention, theyve seen relatively little use. As Im about to be moving house (and preparing for all the unforeseen costs I know that will bring), Im looking to significantly reduce the number of prized possessions I have to pack up and hence, due mainly to time constraints, Ive decided to make sacrifices in the headphone department. I cant see any visible ownership marks on the headphones. The Alcantara pads are brand new as I just prefer the look and feel of leather. Comes with the stock 6.35mm cable which I find perfectly adequate (actually the best stock cable Ive ever come across). Meze have just released an angled version of the Alcantara pad that is supposed to provide an even more spacious, linear and detailed sound which brings its performance closer to the Elite. IMHO, the performance with the stock leather pads is absolutely outstanding if you like warmer headphones such as ZMF and Audeze. I fell in love with these headphones when I auditioned them at London Hi-fi show. They are super comfortable (for their size), sound amazing and look gorgeous. Unfortunately, with the mandatory return to office I simply dont have time to enjoy them and need to invest in a portable setup. The headphones come in Jet Black (my fav colour) with all the original accessories (two sets of pads, 4-pin XLR balanced cable) PLUS the original Meze premium copper 2.5m cable (349 EUR RRP). The cable is in good used condition. Obviously, the headphones will come in their original box as you can see from the photos. I will dispatch Empyreans ASAP using RM Special Next day service. Meze Empyrean Planar Magnetic Headphones With Angled Alcantara Pads. Recently purchased the Susvara and so my Empyreans need to unfortunately be sold to help fund this. Shame as I still absolutely love them! Plus..I only need two sets of headphones and will stick with the Meze Elites and Susvara. Pictures attached. I cannot see any marks or scratches but if you search hard you may find something but it will be so minor its probably not worth mentioning. Comes with original packaging and original cable with single ended termination. Original leather and Alcantara pads included. They have been cleaned and do show signs of use but are generally in very good condition. The angled Alcantara pads which work very well with these headphones were a more recent purchase and are in excellent condition. One other thing to mention is that the pillars that you use to slide up and down to adjust for different head sizes has no filler cap(?) in the top on either side. Sorry no idea what theyre called. I can only imagine they never had them (they are on the Elites) but if they did then they arent there any more. Of course it does not affect functionality or the way they look. If this bothers you then allow me to try and source these for you. **I have spoken to Meze and they will send replacements for 25EUR so let me know if you want me to do this** I have said ship to UK only but, if shipping to Europe (for example) then they would need to be fully insured. Ordered in June 2022, left the factory in July (see owners card in images) arrived in August, these have not been in my possession for very long and, due to having many other headphones and speakers vying for my attention, theyve seen relatively little use. As Im about to be moving house (and preparing for all the unforeseen costs I know that will bring), Im looking to significantly reduce the number of prized possessions I have to pack up and hence, due mainly to time constraints, Ive decided to make sacrifices in the headphone department. I cant see any visible ownership marks on the headphones. The Alcantara pads are brand new as I just prefer the look and feel of leather. Comes with the stock 6.35mm cable which I find perfectly adequate (actually the best stock cable Ive ever come across). Meze have just released an angled version of the Alcantara pad that is supposed to provide an even more spacious, linear and detailed sound which brings its performance closer to the Elite. IMHO, the performance with the stock leather pads is absolutely outstanding if you like warmer headphones such as ZMF and Audeze.
