Meridian A500 speakers. Hi there Up for sale is my pair of much loved, munch used, much travelled Meridian A500 speakers. I’m not quite sure how long I’ve had these but I suspect it’s something like 20+ years. I’ve moved around quite a bit in that time and these have been everywhere with me. Unfortunately they have picked up a few scuffs and scratches along the way. I’ve tried to show this in the photos but it’s all superficial as the speakers still work fine and sound as good as they always have! Time has come to say goodbye to them. The two 200mm bass drivers are housed in separate internal enclosures. A third internal enclosure houses the tweeter and midrange. As a result the acoustic cabinet is extremely rigid, giving the benefits of extension, clarity and dynamic range unheard of in conventional centre channels. Meridian also included innovative DSP technology to compensate for boundary and corner use. This is a centre speaker that can be installed in almost any environment with confidence. The DSP5500HC has been designed to work coherently with the Meridian DSP5500, DSP6000 and DSP8000 loudspeakers. Custom Made Meridian C5 Lead. This lead is used to connect Meridian Audio Components together, (500, 800, G series and Sooloos), allowing them to be controlled from a single unit and remote control. The lead is 0.5 metres long and the robust nickel plated professional Deltron DIN plugs are fully screened with brass, silver plated, contact pins. The highly flexible PVC cable is 3mm diameter of good quality and highly flexible This lead does not carry any audio signals separate leads are needed. Please ask if you need Meridian by Van den Hul Analogue interconnects. I also have other custom built Meridian cables, including Comms (C5), Master (M5), Slave (S5), D600 Loudspeaker communication and digital audio, as well as Meridian 100 series and 200 series interconnects please ask if you require these. Tidy up your equipment rack with custom lengths and replace tired cables. All cables hand assembled and tested prior to dispatch.
