McIntosh C45 Audio / Solid State Preamplifier w/Tuner & Original Box USA Model. Selling a much loved Pre-amp. Adult owned from a non-smoking home. This stunning preamp is in as-new condition. It includes the installed TM1 AM/FM tuner module. As you can see in the photos, the glass is excellent as is the cabinet. It functions exactly as it should. Controls operate flawlessly and without any noise whatsoever. It is dead silent. I have a bound owners manual and the proper factory boxes for safe shipping. Anyone who knows or owns McIntosh gear knows how important and how much value the original boxes bring. The remote control works perfectly however, as typical with the rubberized finish, it has become sticky over time. I am not sure how to remedy this but want whoever buys it to be aware. That is the only fault in which I am aware. I think replacements can be purchased online but honestly, I rarely ever used the remote. This unit is installed in my pride and joy system. However, I have my eye on a McIntosh hybrid tube integrated piece now to satisfy my addiction. There really should be a 12 step program for audio nuts like myself. My MC7270 preamp is listed for sale on eBay as well. To recap... preamp is in excellent physical, and esthetic condition. The remote works great but the finish has become tacky to the touch. The tuner module is installed and included. It will ship safely in the original McIntosh boxes. Also included is an upgraded, massive power cord. Cosmetically the unit is in excellent condition. I dont see a single scratch anywhere. Includes the original remote, box, and shipping box. The auction also comes with various high quality audio cables for the amp. The users manual has been misplaced. I did a search and they do have them available online. Original owner.
