Description release date 1961. 1961 is the era when the full-fledged STEREO era begins after the C-20. A product produced as a precursor to the C-22. A vacuum tube amplifier released by McIntosh between the first-generation stereo preamp C20 and the masterpiece preamp C22. This is a highly complete model made during the mature period. The manufacturing period is about 2 years, but the basic circuit is almost the same as C22. The sound is also attractive, with a firm and powerful vintage sound closer to C22.
