Description
Posting this piece of gear for a friend. There will be more high-end audio items to follow... You are bidding on an excellent original condition example of the Mark Levinson ML-1 Stereo Preamplifier, with the rare optional moving coil phono module. Also included is the PLS-150 external power supply. I believe this is a second owner piece. It has been with the current owner since the early 1980s. I spent time listening to it in those days, so I can verify that fact. They moved on to other gear, and this unit has been stored for some time. I had it powered up for at least a week, listening to it periodically to verify operation, and heard no issues. There are a couple of switches that could use a bit of a clean. NOTE: It appears that Phono 2 was wired directly to the input of the MC phono module. This was done in the 1980s or earlier. Probably done to reduce signal path, and avoid the phono selector switch. Not sure if this was a factory or user mod. Could be reversed easily if desired. Workmanship quality is good. Just an FYI. Also included is a selection of interconnect cables that have had RCA connectors added to one end, so you can connect all of your current gear to the ML-1 without having to worry about adapters. There is also a short handmade RCA-Camac adapter as well. - (2 pair) 6 foot Camac to RCA, Mark Levinson Audio Systems LTD. HFC Swiss Made cables- (1 pair) 3 foot Camac to RCA, Mark Levinson Audio Systems LTD. HFC Swiss Made cables- (1 pair) 3 foot Camac to RCA, silver coax?- (1 pair) 3 foot Camac to RCA, Monster Interlink- (1 pair) 3 RCA to Camac adapter Additionally, I will include a printed copy of the owners manual and schematic diagram. PLEASE EMAIL WITH ANY QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDDING. International bidders will pay any shipping costs, and fees/duties relevant to their country. Thanks for looking!!
