This Marantz EQ-20 is a great addition to any audio space that is not yet perfectly tuned. Allows 10 bands equalizing without distortion, and its also just beautiful to look at in the typical champagne finish from the glory days of Marantz. Made in Japan! I purchased this unit at an estate sale. The owner said it works great. I tested it as far as plugging electity. The on/off switch was crisp, and the light came on. All the levers work perfectly. I opened the cover, and all the circuits looked perfect. I am selling this equalizer as untested based on the limited testing. Cosmetically, it has a few surface scratches and worn area. But overall pretty good for 40 years old.

It powers on, but I don’t really know how to use it so I can’t tell if it’s working correctly or not. I opened it up and Deoxed it, but when I use it with a tape deck the sound is very muffled. Given the situation, I’m selling for parts/repair only, with no returns.

Listing is for a Marantz graphic stereo equalizer EQ-20. This audio tool has some wear, most notable on the back plugging. Side wood plaques have a couple chips, but no major damage. Power cord is in good condition, and it turns on. I dont have the equipment/wiring to test out audio filtering. I did disassemble to inspect the interior, and it is in excellent condition.
