Wir bei MUSICAL FIDELITY vertreten die Meinung, dass die Verzerrungswerte im Hochfrequenzbereich nicht höher sein sollten als die im Niederfrequenzbereich (LF-Distortion). Dies ist von großer Bedeutung für die Klangqualität. Die Kanaltrennung des M6si ist bemerkenswert und besonders konstant. Bei den meisten Verstärkern, sowohl integrierte Designs als auch bei separatem Vorverstärker verschlechtert sich das Übersprechen dramatisch mit zunehmender Frequenz. Das Übersprechen des M6si dagegen ist hervorragend und auch bei 20 kHz immer noch besser als 82dB.Die integrierte Phono-Stufe ist ebenfalls herausragend. Sie hat eine sehr präzise RIAAEntzerrung, die gerade einmal ± 0,5 dB von 20 Hz bis 20 kHz abweicht. Sie behält ihre Präzision bis zu 50 kHz. Der MM-Rauschabstand liegt bei hervorragenden 93 dB, wobei die MC-Stufe mit über 87 dB vielleicht sogar noch erstaunlicher ist. Die Gesamtverzerrungen der Phono-Stufe liegt bei hervorragenden 0,01%.
