Power transformer for Luxman M2000. Bought to replace a burned out transformer but didn’t use it - too many projects, right?

This auction is for a Vintage Luxman Power Amplifier M-2000. This unit appears to not be working. It could be a simple fix but not certain. The VU meters so not light up when the power switch is turned on. When the power is switched on, the sound of the protection circuit is not heard. There are some minor laminate scraps on the top of the cabinet. This unit is sold as is and there are no returns.

I’m selling this luxman P-200 that was given to me by a friend a while back. It works as it should but it does have some scuffs, most notably on the front by one of the headphone jacks. I took a close up picture to try to show that. I did notice some crackling when constantly messing with the headphone cable but that was the only time I heard the crackling. Even moving my head around constantly I wasn’t able to replicate it. The other thing is, this amp is from Japan so because of that there is a discrepancy in the voltage(this amp is rated at 100 volts while the U.S. runs on 120 volts) therefore, I would strongly recommend getting a step down transformer from Amazon or somewhere to use with this as to not possibly damage the amp. This beauty still looks and sounds great almost 50 years later.  Cosmetically, in very nice condition (see pictures) with the wood cabinet and faceplate looking good.  The sound is just the way you would expect it to be for a '70s analog stereo set that was at the top of it's class back in the mid-seventies. There is a slight scratching sound when you first power up which lasts all of 5 seconds then everything sounds great. No work has been done to this preamp. Everything is original. Will be packed and shipped with care. See companion M2000 listed separately.

This pair has been together since birth and still sounds great almost 50 years later. Cosmetically, in very nice condition (see pictures) with the wood cabinets and faceplates looking good. The sound is just the way you would expect it to be for a 70s analog stereo set that was at the top of its class back in the mid-seventies. There is a slight scratching sound when you first power up which lasts all of 5 seconds then everything sounds great. No work has been done to this set. Everything is original. Will be packed and shipped with care.
