Das Tape wurde eingehend getestet:Laufwerk ok.Zählwerk ok.Reset ok. Memo ok.Tape Selector ok.Dolby ok.Regler ok.Fluoreszenz-Anzeige ok. Der Klang ist 1A, Riemen erneuert. Vintage audiophile amp--top-of-the line Japanese quality in fantastic condition: Very clean, with only hard-to-see scuffs or nicks. This was my in my go-to music setup before I needed to downsize. Comes with the original manual and schematic diagram. This integrated amp has the famous Luxman sound: Strong bass drive, velvety but clear mid-range with an overall detailed soundstage supported by flexible tone controls. Digital input is supported by the built-in 16 bit D/A converter (with 4X oversampling) so that the digital signal is transmitted with lossless transmission to the all-FET differential power amplifier for 110W per channel @ 8 ohms (20 Hz - 20 kHz, .015% THD). The LV-117 has a versatile interface that supports both coax and optical inputs and can drive two sets of speakers (A/B). All functions can be bypassed with the line straight function for absolute sound clarity. It has 5 source inputs as well as 3 recording monitors and has a convenient front panel auxiliary input. Luxman R-117 Receiver is one of the legendary top of the line late 1980s- early 1990s top of the line stereo receivers right before AV became big. It is an exceptionally powerful beast (160 W and heavy) and does everything really well. Playing music is fantastic with this. I purchased this for myself used, and received it not working in October 2022. I had it professionally repaired and serviced in RI in May 2023 (will include handwritten paperwork if you’re interested). I’ve used it daily since, attached to a turntable, tape deck and a DAC + TV. It works perfectly, at least for all audio inputs (have not tested S-video or RCA video inputs, because I don’t use them). The double loudness settings are very cool - wish more receivers had something like this, as it’s a huge improvement at low volumes. The radio is also extra impressive - best 1980s tuner I’ve seen. It has cosmetic blemishes - some scratches and pits on front (see photos), scuff on the side, and some sort of glue splatter on the front (probably was in someone’s workshop before I owned it). One of the video connectors is sheared off (see pics). Besides this, does not impact functionality of this unit. No remote but has remote functionality. Can send buyer a pdf of the documentation if they want. Will ship with full insurance for the purchase price.
