This mobile CB radio from Lafayette is a reliable and powerful device for any communication needs. With 23 channels and a 4-watt power output, it allows for clear communication over long distances. The radio is accompanied by a matching power supply for convenient use in a vehicle. it was manufactured in Japan in 1974. The device is in great working condition and has been well-maintained. Its black color and sleek design make it a stylish addition to any vehicle.

This is a Lafayette 525 CB radio. It comes with a portable backpack battery that takes several C batteries. I was able to power up the radio on a power supply and proper power cord that I had and the radio seems to work fine I did use a microphone that I have up on a separate listing to key it and was able to receive on it. As with all older equipment it will have its quirks and probably some adjustments needed. I did not try the battery pack as I did not have any C batteries available. But it has its own built-in antenna system which is pretty neat.
