Krell factory technicians thoroughly tested and inspected this unit. All recommended service was performed including thermal and fuse updates for an overheating recall. The unit is verified as meeting original factory specs. A detailed invoice of work performed is included in this listing. The amp has less than one hour of use since its return to ensure proper operation, and has not yet been put back into service. For all intents and purposes, it’s new. It drives my 4ohm speakers with authority and clarity that must be heard. There is not a finer example anywhere. This amp is adult owned and has been meticulously maintained. This Kav-500 is a full 5-channel model. It has served me well with a few hours of playtime every week for the last 4 years. Unfortunately due to furniture changes, Im forced to sell this warm running classic in favor of a cooler running class D(sad, I know). As you can see in the photos, the previous and original owner had the channels labeled with masking tape and there is leftover residue on the top. I tried to remove it with goo-gone, but I guess years of heat cycles have made it more difficult to remove. Other than that, this amp is in great condition. It functions with no issues and all channels work as they should. I will cover the shipping and insurance and it will be double boxed and packed appropriately. Ive been on ebay for 18+ years and maintain perfect feedback so bid/buy with confidence that items are as described and everything will go smoothly.
