It was designed using KEF’s ‘total system design’ approach where drive units, filter networks and enclosures are studied and developed together to achieve a targeted response. The result was a loudspeaker which achieved a broad frequency response with optimum efficiency and yet a surprisingly small enclosure of just 19 litres. The grills are in good shape with some minor signs of wear. The sound is simply amazing. I’m just downsizing my collection. I am the second owner and they have been well cared for. These were manufactured in 1996 and have the updated crossover and boundary compensation adjustment, then they decided to call them series 2. So although they dont say Series 2, they do have the adjustment screw in the + LF terminal (see pics), System type is 3245 and the XO type is SP2255. (see pic) Both of these were the later versions. KEF Reference Series Type SP3079 Model 102 Bookshelf Home Theater Speakers. These speakers are in great shape overall. Especially for their age. There are some imperfections which can be seen in the pictures. One of the grills has a couple of small blemishes. The are a beautiful dark wood color. Not sure if the exact color. These are audiophile speakers and pretty heavy for their size. They will be packaged well. There are no returns.

Up for offer is a rare to market KEF Reference 200C Center Channel with the Uni-Q driver. This center channel is in excellent condition. The only flaw of note is the label above the rear of the binding posts. The grill was not used and was in dark storage and is also in excellent condition. It could be peeled off if desired. In any case, you will never see it. Otherwise, this unit is in excellent shape and I dont see any flaw of significance.

Hello everyone, Up for grabs is an excellent condition, KEF Reference Model two. All drivers are functioning and working properly. The internal dual woofers have been reformed and all aligned perfectly. See pics. Access to the drivers are via the back of the speaker terminal plate. The cabinets are in excellent shape. The grills are in good shape with some minor signs of wear. The sound is simply amazing. I’m just downsizing my collection. I am the second owner and they have been well cared for. These were manufactured in 1996 and have the updated crossover and boundary compensation adjustment, then they decided to call them series 2. So although they dont say Series 2, they do have the adjustment screw in the + LF terminal (see pics), System type is 3245 and the XO type is SP2255. (see pic) Both of these were the later versions.
