Up for sale is a pair of unique, high quality Vintage KEF Model 103.2 Reference Series speakers - these are handmade in England, and are quite the speakers for any audiophile. Both speakers were tested and perform very nicely, all drivers tested well. Reference Series Model 103.2 (1980-85) Model 103.2 was the successor to the highly regarded 103, and continued with the same two-way closed-box format, using an 8” bextrene coned bass driver which used the new three mounting-point chassis to allow mechanical decoupling from the cabinet. It was designed using KEF’s ‘total system design’ approach where drive units, filter networks and enclosures are studied and developed together to achieve a targeted response. The result was a loudspeaker which achieved a broad frequency response with optimum efficiency and yet a surprisingly small enclosure of just 19 litres. Consistent with all models in the Reference range, 103.2 included S-Stop protection circuitry, and all production systems benefited from KEF’s Reference methodology which matched the response of every system to within 1dB of the design reference, with each pair matched to within 0.5dB of each other.

Pair of KEF model 107/2 type SP3119 Speaker Towers. I purchased a house and these were in the home. As you can see in the pictures, one of the towers was mid repair on both speakers . I have not tested either of them. I am selling them as is just as they sit. The exterior portion of the boxes is quite nice with only a couple minor blemishes. It would appear that the speakers were either being replaced, or repaired Otherwise seem complete. I am not a audio person so I apologize for my lack of description. What you see is what you get. Hello everyone, Up for grabs is an excellent condition, KEF Reference Model two. All drivers are functioning and working properly. The internal dual woofers have been reformed and all aligned perfectly. See pics. Access to the drivers are via the back of the speaker terminal plate. The cabinets are in excellent shape. The grills are in good shape with some minor signs of wear. The sound is simply amazing. I’m just downsizing my collection. I am the second owner and they have been well cared for. These were manufactured in 1996 and have the updated crossover and boundary compensation adjustment, then they decided to call them series 2. So although they dont say Series 2, they do have the adjustment screw in the + LF terminal (see pics), System type is 3245 and the XO type is SP2255. (see pic) Both of these were the later versions. KEF Reference Series Type SP3079 Model 102 Bookshelf Home Theater Speakers. These speakers are in great shape overall. Especially for their age. There are some imperfections which can be seen in the pictures. One of the grills has a couple of small blemishes. The are a beautiful dark wood color. Not sure if the exact color. These are audiophile speakers and pretty heavy for their size. They will be packaged well. There are no returns.

Hello everyone, Up for grabs is an excellent condition, KEF Reference Model two. All drivers are functioning and working properly. The internal dual woofers have been reformed and all aligned perfectly. See pics. Access to the drivers are via the back of the speaker terminal plate. The cabinets are in excellent shape. The grills are in good shape with some minor signs of wear. The sound is simply amazing. I’m just downsizing my collection. I am the second owner and they have been well cared for. These were manufactured in 1996 and have the updated crossover and boundary compensation adjustment, then they decided to call them series 2.
