It is made to the correct mass value required but it my differ cosmetically to the original manufacturers weight. * Please note that this auction is for the anti skate weight and its monofilament line only. The line is knotted and has a small balancer that goes inside the weight but the end that attaches to the anti skate bar of the tonearm is open ended and therefore you must tie the loop end yourself. This is a vintage KD-1033 turntable by Trio (later became Kenwood) It is a semi automatic, in that it is lever operated to begin playback and lifts automatically at the end of a record to cease playback, but tonearm movements and positioning are mostly your own doing. It is in very good general condition, a few marks here and there but very minor, please study the photos as part of the sales description. Following a thorough service, the functions are all spot on, cueing of the tonearm up and down, the auto lift is quick to operate, speed is good and stable, and thanks to a fresh, quality cartridge and stylus the playback is lovely audio too. A very nice vintage way back into your vinyl collection, without breaking the bank! This can be fully demonstrated upon collection from Arnold, Nottingham (O7875749472) Alternatively, if collection in person is a complete impossibility, you can also enquire about a door to door personal delivery, by negotiation prior to any bidding or buying, or you could book your own collection with a courier, friend or colleague etc, so long as you accept the responsibility for its safety and insurance, ill package it up as best i can for transit. TRIO turntable KD-1033 Quality 1970s audio. Very nice looking player . Tested and working as it should . The only issue I see is that one of the little grub screws is missing from the right side of the turntable arm support. Therefore the left one is doing all the holding. I have played several lps today with no issue. But in the ideal world you will want to set up the arm correctly and so may need to find a screw. Also included is the little weight that will also be required to set up the balancing of the arm correctly. But as I say. You could use it as it is as I did today . The lid has a few marks on it . The original 7 adapter is included.
