JVC XL-R5000 Digital Multi CD Compact Disc Player & Recorder No Remote - PARTS The CD player/recorder is for parts or repair. There are some scratches and marks to the housing and there is no remote control. Please note that the unit requires CD-Rs that are designed for music. The copy protection in the device will not allow CDs to be copied to data CD-Rs. They must be labeled as Music or Audio CD-Rs. The manual for this unit is readily available online from the manufacturer. This unit originally worked for me, but developed an issue that prevents its proper use. The CD drive on the burner side (single drive side) no longer spins up CDs. As a result it will now eject the CD shortly after insertion and will not function. See pictures for details.
