For sale is this Jolida JD100, It has been in storage and not used for the last 5 years. After inspection I can tell you the drive has problems opening and closing, but reads cds perfectly. The Jolida is built like a tank (no plastic, including the famous remote) and sounds warm and wonderful with any type of music. After reading all the positive reviews and listening, we bought this new Jolida JD100 Vacuum Tube Reference CD player. It was a perfect match to our system, which included a tube amplifier and Quad ESL-57 speakers. Its 24/96 Burr Brown DAC is considered one of the best. Because we expected to keep this CD player forever, we purchased factory back up tubes and a spare Phillips CDM 12 Transport System laser assembly. That would have been that - until we bought the Audio Note 3.1x/II CD player for $8,500.00. That makes our Jolida JD100 available. It is in pristine condition, no cosmetic defects, and in excellent working order, but once a week or so experiences a tracking click. Its been like this for years, has never gotten worse and never bothers us, but we did get it diagnosed by a Jolida tech. This is why there is a spare laser assembly included. In the future if it ever becomes worse, it can be repaired. For headphone listeners, there is a front-panel headphone jack/amp (Output: 35 mW, 32 ohms) with its own playback volume control that would allow it to function as a stand-alone system. I’m the original owner of this unit, all functions are working. The sound of the Jolida shines best to my ears with vocal music or jazz, I remember playing Diana Krall, Steely Dan & being completely lost in the music. My music habits since have changed therefore I am passing on this unit to someone who can really enjoy it . I have removed the original tubes & have installed a pair of Electro Harmonics 12AX7, I will include the original tubes that it came with. The unit will come with its original box, manual, remote, & power chord. It will be shipped double boxed. There was a small battery acid leak which discolored the inside cover of the remote. I have since cleaned the battery terminals & the remote works just fine . There is a faint surface scratch on the display (see pics) The unit & the remote itself are very stout & heavy. The RCA terminals are clean as you can tell by the pictures. This unit has very low hours & it even plays CDR discs. Jolida JD100 Vacuum tube CD player With Remote Excellent Sound Wow!. Well cared for house used unit. There’s some shelf dust and some slight oxidization on the screws on the chassis otherwise this unit is in excellent condition. Has fully tested and works and sounds great.

In nice condition, works as it should and sounds great! A couple light scratches on top middle, but cosmetically overall looks fantastic. Comes with power cord, but no remote.

Power Cable may need to be replaced as the prongs seem to be worn- doesnt always make good contact if plugged into older outlet. Works fine in new outlets/power strips.
