Removed from my pair of JBL TLX 215 3 way loudspeakers. 3 way crossover units from a pair of speakers which had faulty woofers. Everything else was working well. They look in great condition, the original wires are left intact with spade connectors on all 12 wires. Sale is for a PAIR from a matched pair of speakers.

A pair of JBL TLX-215 hifi speaker CABINETS ONLY, Id guess from 1990s, but I cant find much info out there.Listed as spares or repairs / parts only .Danish built cabinets are good quality and look ok too. Build from , Id guess, 18mm chipboard and weigh a fair bit. Grilles have a hole or two but are included. Dimensions are roughly H 46 cm x W 23 cm x D 23 cm. Collection only from RG12 thanks. NB. Cabinets only, no drive units or crossovers included.

A pair of JBL TLX-215 hifi speakers, Id guess from 1990s, but I cant find much info out there.Listed as spares or repairs / parts only as the foam surrounds on the mid and bass units of both speakers have rotted away completely. They do work, when plugged in and it sounds as if all six drive units are putting out sound, but obviously, sound quality is not what it should be. Ideally, they need refoaming to restore. Could be used as parts too, tweeters and crossovers seem ok and the Danish built cabinets are good quality and look ok too. Grilles have a hole or two but are included. Dimensions are roughly H 46 cm x W 23 cm x D 23 cm. Collection only from RG12 thanks.

This hefty mid/bass driver may have also been used other JBL TLX-series speakers, but buyer is fully responsible for making that determination accurately.So, please see my large photos and read the remaining description to decide if this capable JBL mid/bass woofer is correct for your needs. *Although the listing is written in singular to avoid any confusion, two (2) identical JBL 5¼” woofers are available at time of this writing. This JBL woofer is in clean, very good condition. It has a sturdy poly-coated paper cone that’s flawless and the voice coil dustcap has no dimples whatsoever. Plus, the surround is foam, but it was evidently factory-treated to prevent the typical decay. Also, the black-enameled steel basket is in great shape with no dings, scratches, or rust, while the galvanized magnet ‘bell’ cover has a bit of oxidation. And, the +/- terminals have never been soldered on the spades and are keyed for polarity (larger spade with red dot = positive). Overall, this driver is quite well preserved. Most importantly, it’s been fully tested and sounds perfect—strong, clean midrange coverage with ample low-end for the platform size. Plus, I tested its DC resistance at 4.6-4.7? consistent with a nominal 6 ohm driver rating. Lastly, the basket flange measure 5” in diameter (yes, the JBL specs sheet should call this a 5” driver, not 5¼”), it stands 2?” tall, and mount holes are 3?” adjacent / 4?” diagonal apart, c-t-c. This is a great find if your suitable period JBL’s have a blown mid/bass driver and will have your speakers sounding their best again in no time.
