Offered for your consideration is a vintage Infinity #902-4144 2 inch Polyspherite dome midrange driver removed from my RS4001 loudspeakers, manufactured c.1991. The 902-4144 was also used in the RS5001 and RS6001. So, please take a look at my large photos, the measurements, and read the remaining description to decide if this superb Infinity mid driver should be yours. *Although the listing is written largely in singular to avoid any confusion, two (2) identical Infinity 902-4144 midranges are available for purchase at time of this writing. This Infinity dome midrange is in clean, excellent condition. It has a perfect radiating surface with no dings or dimples. Plus, the faceplate has no cracks or scratches. And, the industry-standard .205” +/- terminals are marked for polarity (red line side = pos) and have never been soldered on the spades. Overall, this Infinity mid looks practically new! Most importantly, it has been fully tested and sounds very clear, with fast, detailed response in the critical midrange frequencies. Plus, I tested its DC resistance at 3.8? consistent with a 4 ohm nominal driver rating. Lastly, the faceplate measures 4?” diameter, it stands about 2?” tall (incl. the dome), and the mount holes are spaced 3?” adjacent / 4¼” diagonal apart, c-t-c. This is a nice find for someone that has a blown or damaged dome midrange(s) in their RS4001 or other suitable c.1989-91 Infinity Reference Series model—your speakers will be sounding their best again in no time! Offered for your consideration is one (1) Infinity #902-5226 ½” polycarbonate tweeter, manufactured c.1995. This capable high frequency driver was removed from an Infinity Sterling Series Video speaker and was also used in the Sterling SS2001, Sterling SS2002, SL10, Video 1, and possibly other Infinity speakers from the 1990’s. So, please take a look at my large photos and read the remaining description to decide if this capable Infinity tweeter is correct for your needs. This Infinity tweeter is in clean, excellent condition. It has a structurally perfect radiating surface, well-protected behind the acoustically-transparent grate, and nice plastic faceplate with no cracks or scratches noted. Also, the +/- terminals are marked for polarity and have never been soldered on the spades. It is practically indistinguishable from new. More importantly, it’s been fully tested and sounds terrific with excellent clarity and detail. It carries to a full 20kHz, so there’s plenty of “sparkle,” and is rated up to 150W as crossed over at 4.5KHz in the Sterling Video. Plus, DC resistance tested at 6.7?, right in line with a nominal 8 ohm rating. And, the faceplate measures 2 13/16” diameter, it stands about ¾”, and the three mount holes are spaced 2?” apart, c-t-c. As pictured and described, this superb Infinity ½” polycarbonate tweeter is offered at a competitive price.
