Up for sale is a beautiful and POWERFUL Parasound HCA-1206 THX CERTIFIED 6 channel power amplifier. This amp puts out 135 Watts per Channel when run in 6 channel mode. Two pairs of channels can be bridged producing a whopping 350 Watts per Channel for the bridged channels!! This amp was from the original owner. I have thoroughly tested this amp and it is working perfectly. Cosmetically the unit is in excellent overall condition. There are a few minor scuffs on the top front edge and typical minor marks elsewhere. Here is information about the unit from HiFi Review: The Parasound HCA-1206, designed by the well-known circuit designer John Curl, is an exceptionally powerful and versatile high-performance power amplifier certified by Lucasfilm for use in Home THX surround-sound systems. It is also suitable for multiroom audio systems or any other application requiring as many as six independent high-power amplifiers.With all channels driven, each channel of the HCA-1206 is conservatively rated to deliver 120 watts into 8 ohms, or 180 watts into 4 ohms, from 20 Hz to 20 kHz with less than 0.07 percent total harmonic distortion (THD). Although all its channels are identical, Channels 1 and 2 are designed specifically for the front channels of a multichannel sound system and cannot be bridged. PARTS ONLY! For sale is a Parasound HCA 1206 power amplifier. Most of what you see in the pictures is dust however you can clearly see some rust on the top. If you are considering buying it to restore I will post pictures with it dusted off jut let me know. It does not work properly. The protection lights come on when the amplifier is turned on.
