To inspect it now is amazing to reveal a consumer product over 60 years old, The leathercloth covering has been cleaned there is a slight scuff on the top but other than that its fine. All the chrome hasps,hinges and studs gleaming and unscratched, the colour co-ordinated Garrard turntable with black turntable mat.It uses a 2 stage amplifies with ECL 86s in push-pull into 2 speakers including a Grundig tweeter. Plenty of volume and bass its a really nice looking record player.. I have replaced the original cartridge and stylus with a new Modern one so it will play stereo and mono at 45 and 33 RPM It works exceptionally well as expected and the deck has been overhauled removing all aged sticky grease and re- lubricated. This is not a rare record player, many thousands were produced and was a great seller for The Rank Organisation but I guarantee you will not find a finer example anywhere Would prefer collection in person is possible.
