I bought this player secondhand but never got around to using it. Since a number of potential buyers have asked about battery life, I transferred a FLAC music file to the unit and repeat played it through some Bayerdynamic DT231 headphones at a reasonably high volume. It had been running for 9 hours and there was 20% more battery left when I stopped testing so, under these conditions, battery life looks to be 11-12 hours.

Very nice reel to reel tape deck in need of some attention. This Japanese built model was sold from between 1983 – 1992. Unfortunately, it does not work correctly, its struggle to play and the audio output from both headphones and RCA is very low in level. Sold strictly for spares or repairs with no returns. In good working order. Minor dent to top left hand corner of the metal casing. Screen has a number of dead pixels (see last 3 pictures). These are only especially noticeable when the screen is monochrome (during the boot up sequence for example). Also please note, this is a used electronic device while the battery still holds a charge it will not do so as well as when it was new.
