They were self adhesive rubber pads that you can pick up at a DIY store if you want There is a post that broke off the speaker cover, (shown in photo). The cover still stays on though. Lastly, there are some shallow screw holes in the wood on the bottom of the speaker. They do not protrude too far into the wood, ( in red to highlight them).
