Here is a super rare Technics RS-7500 Elcaset tape player. If you are not familiar with the format, its essentially like an oversize cassette deck. This player comes with 6 used cassettes. Condition report: Cosmetically, this player is in pretty good condition, but does have a few marks here and there. I have tried to highlight most of them, but just noticed there is a scratch through the Technics logo on the front, which you can see if you look closely at the pictures. generally though, its very presentable. In use: I have played some of these tapes. The unit is playing and fast forwarding strongly, but rewind is more problematic and needs attention. The unit plays tapes and Ive listened to one and it really sounds pretty good. The VU meters illuminate, but neither appears to be working, which is a shame and obviously needs attention. I can only get sound from one of the tapes, so it may be the others have been wiped. Summary: This unit will play tapes. However, the rewind function is not good and replacement belts seem like an obvious starting point for any work. The VU meters are also not currently working and there may of course be other work required. As such, Im selling this as Not work or for parts and therefore cannot offer any warranty with this unit, and cannot accept returns. The small print...The photographs show the actual item being sold. I use a studio to show the items in as much detail as possible. I must stress, that I have not serviced this item, just described its current cosmetic and operational condition as honestly as I can.
