Description
Elac Discovery Music Server. Brand new in box, never used. Super Deal. Easy way to add music streaming to your stereo, or add a new Roon endpoint to your Roon subscription. I purchased 2 of these at full retail but didnt need them both. This one is for sale, unused. My loss to sell it for less than I paid. NO RETURNS. Ships to lower 48 only. The following details taken from the internet. No Warranty. Music streaming device. Plays music from a network storage device or server, connected USB drive, or streaming from Tidal. It has no internal storage of its own. This is a Roon-ready and Apple AirPlay device. If you dont have a Roon subscription, you should be able to download the free Roon Essentials app from https://roonessentials.com/ and use that. Theres a 30000-track limit with Roon Essentials, but if you use this as a full Roon endpoint, that limit is gone, since Roon is controlling your library. Quad-core ARM9 processorUSB-A port for thumb or external hard driveEthernet port for a wired connection (WiFi is not supported)Analog RCA stereo audio outputs (using internal Cirrus Logic CS4398 DACs)Toslink optical digital audio output for use with a separate DACCoaxial digital audio output for use with a separate DACAll audio outputs can be fixed to max volume for volume control at your receiver or preamp.Supported formats: WAV, AAC, AIFF, MP3, FLAC, OGG, ALAC. DSD is not supported (although Roon will automatically convert DSD to a compatible PCM format before sending the music to the ELAC).Supports PCM sampling rates up to 24bit/192kHz, although I believe Toslink is limisted to 96kHz. Most people consider digital coaxial the better option than Toslink.
