The quality and volume definitely holds up for anything you want to play off your phone or any other digital playback device. Could easily be used for parties as a bookshelf speaker given the price range. Its just that its seriously mediocre to connect to record players. Edifier R1280T Powered 42 W Bookshelf Speakers. Bought these speakers three months ago with my receiver and turntable. Only used it twice to listen to some vinyls so its pretty new. Why Im selling? Unfortunately I didnt find them powerful enough to cover a lot of frequencies and intricacies of analog records on vinyl discs. The quality and volume definitely holds up for anything you want to play off your phone or any other digital playback device. Could easily be used for parties as a bookshelf speaker given the price range. Its just that its seriously mediocre to connect to record players.
