For sale my Dynavector DV-20X2L moving coil cartridge. I have just had this cartridge fully refurbished and upgraded by the Expert Stylus And Cartridge Company, with a brand new boron cantilever and ultra-low mass paratrace diamond stylus, their top rebuild option. The cartridge is unused since return from Expert, and Ive only opened the box to take the photos for this listing. (For completeness please note the Dynavector box included in the sale is correct for this model cartridge but isnt the original box which came with the cartridge because it shows a different serial number). The upgrades carried out by Expert should put performance close to the next model up in the Dynavector range, the DVXX2 MkII. Id keep this very special cartridge to use myself except Ive acquired quite a number of moving coils now, including a few exotic models and I cant listen to them all at once! Hello, this fine cartridge was re-tipped by Soundsmith in 2021 and used for about 6 months. Its been sitting in a drawer since then. I like to try a different cartridge every year. Soundsmith replaced the aluminum cantilever with a boron version as used in Dynavectors more expensive models.This is the High Output model, usable with a standard MM preamp. Bidding starts at $450. Dynavector DV-20X low output moving coil cartridge in used but excellent condition. Expertly removed from my Linn LP12 by one of the UKs leading Linn dealers as part of an upgrade. The cartridge has had a lot of use (approx. 1,000 hours) but still sounds great. The DV-20XL has a trade in value against new Dynavector cartridges. Typically this is 20% on a like for like replacement. Complete with all original packaging and fitting accessories. This will be securely shipped in a card carton. UK sales only.
