The front face of the same unit was coming away slightly causing noticeable vibrating sounds when in use. I fixed this issue with tape but Im sure it can be dealt with properly. These will clean up really well if they find the right home. I have tested these for this listing and had not noticed the burst driver previously but they are in full working order, with no issues at all volume, bass and treble ranges. These bookshelf speakers have great output, and define low budget, high performance speakers.

B&W DM303 Bowers & Wilkins Hi-Fi Book Shelf Speakers Ebony Black 2-way 100W Max. Great speakers. Fully tested and in excellent working order. Cabinets are in overall great condition, and speaker grills have been fully wet cleaned and are in great shape also. There is a dent to one of the tweeter cones, but the sound is excellent and unaffected. There are some marks/scratches to the bottoms commensurate with use. Zum Anschaffungspreis von nur 400 Euro pro Paar ist die DM303 ein absoluter Knüller. So luftig und ausgeglichen klingt es in dieser Preisklasse bei keinem anderen. Die Kompakten haben waschechte Nautilus-Technik geerbt, sind tadellos verarbeitet und sprühen nur so vor Spielfreude. Billig ist hier nur der Preis. Einfach exzellent!  Da kann zumindest messtechnisch so mancher Highend-Koloss vor Neid nur erblassen. Die B&W DM303 offenbart eine absolut tadellose Linearität, einen ordentlichen Wirkungsgrad (zirka 84 Dezibel) sowie eine exzellente Sprungantwort.  Auffallend auch die relativ hohe Impedanzlinearität. Einmal mehr fehlerlose Ingenieursarbeit aus England! Das einzige was hier billig ist, ist der Preis.
