It comes pre-installed with SUNLIGHT, the DirectStream DAC MK1s latest and greatest FPGA Firmware.This unit is a winner! 8/10 condition, you will see that the top panel has some imperfections (minor smudges & minor scratches) but is still quite nice. Of course this will not affect sound quality, performance or functionality. It also has some faded silkscreen on the back panel.The graphics on the screen, the DirectStream dome label, and the successful installation of SUNLIGHT firmware all prove that this is a fully-functioning DirectStream DAC with Bridge I, whose original retail price was $6,898! There is NO BETTER SOUND QUALITY for a DAC at this price. This is one of the best DS DACs 8/10 that out there. I got this unit in trade and am putting up for action to find a good home.This unit is a real gem!

Pre owned Direct Stream Mk1 dac, in good working order. This unit was checked for proper function by PS Audio earlier this year when most recent Sunlight Firmware was installed. The front, sides and back are in excellent condition, marks noted on shiny top. Remote and User Manual included. Price is Firm and Fair, less than other used versions currently on the market.

I bought this PS Audio PerfectWave DirectStream DAC with Bridge II (for streaming/Ethernet) used a couple years ago and have enjoyed it greatly while using Roon to stream here at the house.See photos which are part of my description. This black unit came to me with the latest (and I believe, the last) firmware update that PS Audio did for these - Sunlight. The sound of these is amazing! I used the I2S jack (takes your HDMI cable) to feed the signal from their newest SACD player (since been sold, sorry) and my CD collection never sounded so good. I streamed using Roon through the Bridge II and those results were also amazing. Honestly I cannot imagine how they will improve on this with their new Mk II of this product. Comes packed into its original carton with power cord and remote. No printed manual but you can download those from PS Audio. I’m sure their warranty is long out of date on this one by now in case that factors into your purchase decision. This incredible DSD DAC works and looks great. It is an upgrade to DirectStream and you can see the green arrow which proves this along with the screen graphics which proves its a DirectStream (not a PWD or PWD-2).I intentionally priced this lower than everything else Ive seen so far. Some cosmetic blemishes on screen, body, bottom, gloss top but truly nothing major. The unit is outstanding. The logo button works great and lights up. Screen looks and operates wonderfully. This is a Network Bridge II card for a PS AUDIO PERFECT WAVE DIRECT STREAM DAC Mk1. If you have this DAC, this card gets you network access to streaming services, I used it for Tidal and it worked great. I am including an old style WD My Net AC WiFI Bridge device as well. This enables you to connect to your network via WiFi, so you do not need to plug into a network cable. Very easy to set up. Works flawlessly. This is a very good deal for this card, it is much more expensive when new.

This is my personal DAC/preamplifier which I have enjoyed very much. Ive owned it about 3 years, having bought it used. I added the bridge card for music streaming with the Mconnect app, which worked smoothly with Qobuz. I also used it with PS Audios latest CD/SACD player via the I2S input. I also used a coaxial input for a digital phono preamp and the USB input for my computer. Ive used it as a preamplifier because it has an excellent audiophile volume control. Ive also used it with a Krell preamp to get analog phono. Unfortunately, Ive had to dismantle my listening room to have an extra bedroom for family and must sell my best components. I sent this back to PS Audio when the screen started flickering and they kindly repaired it on warranty (attached). You will not find better customer service anywhere! Please note: its very important to have the rear panel switch turned off (O) when you connect the power cord and plug it in. Please write if you have any questions.
