Here for your consideration is a very nice turntable arm and cartridge combo. I built the plinth myself which accounts for the fact that it looks great from 10 feet away but up close you can see my imperfect woodwork. A bit more dressing up on the plinth would make this fantastic. So, the turntable is a venerable Denon DP-3000 direct drive which was designed to be a broadcast standard unit, these are noted for their longevity and accuracy. They are a wonderful unit and this one has no issues. Mated to that is a wonderful Grace g-727 Gyronmaster arm. The name Grace is well known and respected in high end audio circles. This arm can carry pretty much any cartridge, but in this case it has a Nagaoka MP-110 , which is nearly new and has maybe 10 hours tops. It tracks perfectly at 1.75 grams. I put this together with the intention of keeping it forever, but as I am now partially deaf I really cannot appreciate any longer, so I am reluctantly offering it for sale. I make no apologies for the shipping cost, it is heavy, and big, but I will pack it as if it were going to the Moon. I will dismantle it as far as possible to ensure safe transit, so I am expecting the buyer to be able to put it back together and understand how to do it. This is a precision piece of equipment so if plug and play is more to your liking, bypass this. But once it is set up, you will not need to mess with it anymore after that. Questions are welcome, offers are appreciated, but please no ridiculously low ones. I do not need to sell it. I will include the weight and level and an alignment protractor with the sale. Denon Dp3000 Turntable Motor Transport Unit. Broadcast unit transport motor, you must know what you are buying if you are looking at this. Both speeds are stabilised, as you know this is a servo pll driveElectrolitic capacitors changed with brand new ones, 15.06.2023! WIll probably last for long years now =) The unit works but listed as for parts or not working because of the following reasons: 1) 33 rpm light bulb gone, needs replacing- very easy task for someone with basic soldering skills. I didnt had the bulb amongst my stuff- this doesnt affect functionality in any way at all ! 2) stop button needs to be kept pressed for longer than 0.5 sec for the turntable to stop (maybe this is even normal ?) 100V Japan unit- transformer required, make sure you will use a genuine one that outputs the right voltage. Please dont but if you didnt read description or dont agree to condition. It will come exactly as pictured.
