Had some corrosion inside of the battery compartment and tried to clean it to the best of my ability but was still not able to get it to work. Maybe someone with more experience with these types of device could restore it to its former glory. The vent on top does have some cosmetic wear from where some of the black film is coming off. Other wise the system is in pretty decent shape for its age.

Nice system. With great sound and working remote. The cassette is not working but the cd changer and radio are great plus it has a phono input so you can add a turntable without having to buy a separate phono stage preamp. Also has an additional aux input. Local pickup in Yonkers, NY only

Up for sale is a Sony RM-U222 Stereo Receiver Remote in very good to excellent condition. Has imperfections to the bottom left side that look like puppy teeth marks. Originally supplied with model STR-D590. I have thoroughly tested this remote and guarantee it to arrive in working condition. Please feel free to email mewith any questions you may have.
