Crowncorder CTR-6550 S All Transistor Tape Recorder w/ Power Cord, Mic, Earpiece. Powers on, red light illuminates. If play is pressed, static is heard. But no tape reels were in it. One spring in the battery compartment had some corrosion. I can not test it any further since I have no reels. Overall it seems to be in pretty good condition. Used and sold as is. See photos for details. It is heavy, so be aware of the shipping costs. Package weighs about 10 1/2 pounds s and is 18x14x10.

Very nice cosmetic condition in its original box. Everything working apart from the drive on both cassettes - I expect the rubber drive belts have perished over time and need replacing.

Its not massively scrubby looking or scruffy, but could do with an attentive cleamand does have some obvious wear and scratches etc. that may not show well in the pics. Tried it with a couple of old cassette singles and a C90 and i think it sounds just little bit slow.FFWD is also comparatively slow and chuggy Playback isnt massively slow but all the same it seems slow to me on the couple of tapes i tried. It may just need a new drive-belt or may need other maintenance / repair. Using a pair of Roland RH-5 headphones the sound quality is otherwise fairly decent for what it is, its clear, not over-bassy and surprisingly quite loud. Clearly itll sound different on other outputs, i tried it on some of the era cheap headphones and the sound was muffled and quiet. Offered as parts / not working given it needs some attention.
