A nice example of the Dual 505-4 Audiophile Concept turntable - in the oak wood grain casing. All features work as they should (auto arm lift and stop at end of the record, speed changer, pitched belt speed adjuster). The speed at both 45 rpm and 33 rpm holds very steady, no fluctuations at all. Fitted with an Ortofon/Dual cartridge and stylus - can be heard and seen working on collection. Not sure how much life is left in the stylus but it sounds fine to me. I’ve cleaned/re-oiled the bearing and also cleaned the motor microswitch lever (a common fault on these - they stick and cause the deck not to start). Sadly there is no lid or hinges - but I’ve set the start price to reflect that. The casing has one tiny mark near the speed changer, as seen in the pics This is a collection only sale from Halifax West Yorkshire. I will not post it as I do not have suitable packaging and it will likely get damaged in transit. Happy to try answer any questions if I can. PS 2/9/23 I just noticed, when wiring up for playback/demonstration, that there is one other tiny ding in the veneer.
